Successful candidates must have a Ph.D. in an area of the mathematical sciences by November, 2009 and not before November, 2004.

Federal University of Alagoas is located in the city of Maceio at the State of Alagoas, Brazil and is the biggest university of Alagoas/Brazil. Our institution is a primarily an undergraduate institution with a number of master's and PhD's degree programs. Our Institute offers bachelor's degrees in mathematics, mathematics education, and a Master of Science degree in mathematics.
